I love the simple argument against a designed eye, fantastic! Richard Dawkins science programs are nearly without peer. He might even give Sir David a run for his money! I will most certainly be picking this doc up when it's released.

I read this in one of RD's books (can't remember which one, and they're packed for our upcoming move now) years ago, and it was a real "aha!" moment, where things clicked.
ReplyDeleteYears later I photocopied that fragment and gave it to a Jehovah's Witness couple who tried to tell me the eye *had* to be designed. They likened it to throwing a bunch of metal and sand into a pond and expecting a camera to emerge.
